Well last night, April 30th, at the Hailstone home, the love of my life proposed to me!! I can't say that I have ever been happier! I am so in love with Brad and cannot wait to share time and all eternity with him. He is the most amazing man in this world. I honestly couldn't ask for more. I am so excited! He will be the best husband ever! I can't believe how lucky I am! What did I do to deserve such an amazing man!?

THE STORY...

Thursday night Brad and I sat down with my wonderful soon to be mother in law and my awesome soon to be sister in law and made some suggestions about what we wanted for out wedding. The two went to bed after and Brad and I discussed what we wanted, people to invite to our sealing, and arrangements after, as well as our honeymoon. :) Keep in mind this is Thursday. I didn't have a ring on my finger yet. So we set our date... June 3rd 2010.. Brad got on Friday morning and saw that the temple is going to be closed for cleaning. We had to push it to June 10th, 2010. Which thankfully is giving me an extra week to plan. Well Brad didn't have work Friday and neither did I so I booked us in at Timpanogos Temple June 10th and 11am. He said he was running errands with his mom. Well Later that day he asked if I would like to go to dinner. I said yes! Then he text me asking me for my moms number for his mom. He said that she wanted to call and coordinate some wedding planning with her. I gave him the number not knowing that it was really for him to get a hold of my dad. haha Well we went to dinner and I at dinner he seemed a little quiet and I was thinking hmmm... maybe we're going to go ring shopping after dinner when Brad told me, "I made a rough draft video for our wedding with the pictures I have of us. I need your baby pics and stuff so that I can finish but I think we should go back to my house and watch it and you can tell me what you think." I was excited :D YAY! So then I figured no ring shopping. I thought I hope he just surprises me. . .
Well we arrived at his house and went into the theatre room when he put the DVD in and came and sat by me on the couch. The video was so cute and the song on it is, "I'm yours" by Jason Mraz. We both LOVE the song. :D So I am watching it and half way through the song the screen goes black and I figured well that is it and it is so cute! I loved it! Right then on the screen the word "WAIT!" appeared and then it said, "THERE IS SOMETHING I WANT TO ASK YOU...."
I looked over to see him getting down on one knee and said, "Shantell, Will you MARRY me!?" OH MY GOODNESS! I freaked out haha! I said YES!!!!! And then jumped up and started hugging him to death and kissing him! I wanted to cry!!! I was so happy and it was all so surprising! Then after a few minutes of that we let go and he slipped the ring on my finger. My heart was racing like you could not ever believe! THIS IS REAL LIFE! I AM MARRYING THE MAN OF MY DREAMS, THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO SPEND TIME AND ALL ETERNITY WITH YOU BRAD! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!

The best part is that he picked out the ring himself. We didn't go ring shopping! I did not want to! I wanted it to be something that he picked out for me to wear symbolizing that I am married to him!!! And that is exactly how it happened! The ring is the most beautiful ring I have ever seen! I am sure my "mother in-law" haha, helped! Thank you!!! It's amazing! This is all a dream come true!!!

I know I have totally sucked at updating the blog. I figured I would just write a little about what is going on in life.

So Brad came home from his mission January 28th as you know from my past posts. We are going camping with my family this weekend. I am super excited. It is going to be a lot of fun. Last week Brad came to my Great Grandpa Beans birthday. It was quite some entertainment. Grandpa and his Alzheimers.... you never know what to expect. I was nervous having Brad there. Sometimes Grandpa likes to bust open the marriage and temple discussions haha or others it is having S E X talks. haha So as you can tell... we had what I thought were some awkward moments there but Brad thought it was fine and laughed. I am glad he can rough it with the fam. He also came to Family home evening on monday and played soccer with everyone and played on the zip line in my aunt and uncles back yard. We hung out way late and had what he calls my "specialty" lol ... HOT TANG! haha Nothing way great but he must love it. Tomorrow we plan to curl up inside while the weather is bad and have some hot tang. haha! he is so funny! I am way happy he is home. We have so much fun together. Also his little sister Chrissy is so awesome. I have really gotten to know her and i adore her. Brad has really gotten to know my family and my brothers... haha we take them laser tagging a lot. But anyway... we are going camping this weekend for Easter with my family. I am way excited. We are bunking with grandma and grandpa. It is going to be sweet! Neither of us can wait!

Other then this.... I have just been working like usual. I am looking forward to going back to school. I am ready for summer and all the good stuff that comes with summer. Brad and I have a Lake Powell trip planned with a bunch of people. I am really excited about it.
Also lately I have been traveling with my cousin Brian doing the ISE shows (International Sportsmans Expo) They pay us to run our 3D pop up shoot. It is sweet. We have some freaking awesome trips. Great pics and many great memories made.

I have been blessed with so many things in life. I have been blessed with such an amazing family and friends. I just have to throw that out there. You all know who you are. I love you all.

Life is super good right now. I wouldn't change anything for the world. My aunt Michelle is getting ready to take her endowment out and go through the temple. I am sooo happy for her. Then one day when I am all grown up and looking at getting married... she can be there. She is like my second mom. I love her. I think this will be the push her husband/my uncle Skip needs to go through. I love them both dearly and you guys are in my prayers.

So Elder Brad comes home on the 28th and he emailed me telling me he is starting to get a little more specific with his "when he gets home" plans. So.... He asked me if he could take me out to dinner on Jan. 30, 2010 via email. :D Of course I said yes! I am excited to see him! The picture is of Brad and I a week or two before he left on his mission 2 years ago. :D Love it! I am really excited to see him!

So... Jenny and I are going on a road trip this weekend. We are leaving Friday to St. George and staying the night there, waking up Saturday and going to Mesquite for MX races. It is the Wild West Series ;D My little brothers will be racing in it as well as lots of other babes!! Then we will be heading into VEGAS BABY! Wahooo! We will be meeting up with Pro AMA rider, Ronnie Goodwin 711. He's a total babe! As well as some of our other friends there. Sunday we're totally going to relax, shop, get pedicures, and recover from the night before. Then head on home! :D It should be a really fun get a way and I am so excited! I can't wait! Tomorrow seems like forever away... I will post pics from our trip when we make it home.

So for Christmas my parents got me a new camera. Mine broke at the dunes this spring. Most of you know I take pictures of everything and everywhere I go. I am happy to be back to taking pics of everything I do. I will have to plug my camera in soon when I get lots of new ones and put them on here but here are some good times to share :D

So yesterday my cousin Cierra did my hair and I went over to Ashlee's (a.k.a my adopted sister) work afterwards to show her. I sat there with her until she got off then we went to my house and my little cousin Jadyn was there. Grandma made us a yummy dinner. We were having so much fun! We always laugh soo hard together. Well we made sugar cookies and got each other so messy! Well mean while Jadyn was calling us names because lets face it... Ash and I are the biggest idiots together. Although we are the funniest idiots you will ever meet! haha But Ash sent me the above image! I was laughing so hard because this will totally be us when we get old. My cousin Jessica and I use to joke about it. I use to work at a nursing home so all the crazy things that our crazy old ladies use to do... we would joke that someday we would do! I thought this was the funniest thing ever.
Sunday night before ward prayer and after my scripture study I went to my friend Colby Lambs house and he made us homemade hot chocolate. It was so yummy! haha

This is my cousin Cierra and Gentry. (We're not actually "blood" cousins but our families are married into eachother and we claim each other so yes... we're cousins!) Cierra is the only person in this world I will ever trust and allow to do my hair. She is amazing and the funniest thing ever! Their whole family is! Gentry I set up on a date a while ago with Brandon's little brother Cam and they had a ton of fun. Well Cierra is 25 and sooo freaking cute! I love her to death! She is the funnest. So I decided that I needed to set her up with my really fun single friend Josh...

This is Josh... Josh is 29 and single. Josh is also a lot of fun and very attractive. So ... yesterday while Cierra was doing my hair, they came to my mind. They would have a lot of fun together and they are both pretty close in age. They exchanged numbers and have been talking and exchanged pics... so we will see when they go out. I hope they hit it off!

Benefit Concert Tonight, All money goes to children in Peru!

Tonight my friend Cory Beighley and his band are playing a benefit concert at UVU's center stage. It is at 8pm and will cost $5 at the door. All of the money goes to children in Peru. I have never heard their band play all together but I have heard Cory and he is amazing. You can make it your family night activity and bring the whole family. I can promise that it will be worth it and it is all for a great cause.

NC Premier was so much fun! It was so great to see friends I haven't seen in a long time. Jenny and I ran at each other like little girls on the play ground! I missed her and Casey tons! They are so fun! It was just fun to see everyone again. =) I'm glad I went! It was a great time. I'm excited for NC world tour to start! When they come here Jenny and I are going to try to attend a few of them when they come back to the US. We plan to have a perfect attendance to every motocross event this winter and every event in 2010! It will be great times! Mx events always are! You can't ever go wrong! =) I am so pumped for Wintercross! It all takes place in my hometown!

Congrats to Tyler and Mckenzie Ciriako!

Ty is my childhood buddy. We have probably been friends since before we could walk. I don't really remember how long because it has been so long. When I was little we lived with my Grandparents in American Fork, where I am currently living again. Ty and his family lived 2 houses up from my grandparents. We played together all the time and lots with our other neighborhood friends, The Andrews boys Kyle and Anthony ( I got to see Anth for the first time since I was probably 10 years old last night. His family moved to Lehi. Anth just got home off of his mission in Texas. It was great to see him and hear about his life. We exchanged numbers so we can keep in touch and make plans to get together.), The Crominhooks (if that is even how you spell their last name), and Jordan Peterson and more. Ty and I went to kindergarten together and did lots more. Even As we got older we stayed friends and stayed in touch. When I moved to Provo for college Ty came over and hung out a few times. We did pretty ok at staying in touch.

Well now here Ty is... He found himself a beautiful wife and is settling down. Ty ran a little on the wild side when we got older and I think this girl is good for him. She has him going back to church. It was fun to see Ty so happy. He truly loves her and she is a lucky girl! Ty is awesome and comes from such an awesome family, He is truly amazing and I love him to death! I am so happy for them both and wish them the both only the BEST in life. They got married at Tri City Golf Course where Ty has spent over half of his life being a little golfer.

I am sure that they will one day be sealed for time and all eternity in the temple!

Shari is sporting her 80's rock outfit. Her Poison t-shirt, leggings, t-shirt clip, massive crimped hair, bright blue eye shadow, blue eye liner, blue mascara, and huge black earrings. Following Justin and Shari is Ashlee and I wearing our brightly colored spandex, colorfuls leg warmers, t-shirts with t-shirt clips, huge poofed crimped hair put together in bright pink and green banana clips, big earrings, and blue and pink eye shadow. Next is my mom Debi, I think she looks like and 80's school teacher but whatever haha, Deb is wearing a polyester zebra long sleeved shirt over a black and pink shirt with black and pink beads to match, she sported the massive crimped hair and the giant bangs that she was already known for in the 80's, she wore huge black and white earrings. My dad Doug, well... here we have Bret Michaels lol! He wore my little brother Coltons pants so they would be a little snug for dad the awesome wig, red bandana, and black cut off explain it all! He was Bret back in his hard core rocker days before his hair mellowed out a litle bit. Following my parents is my aunt and uncle Nikki and Steve. Nikki was wearing a sweated with the neck and almost shoulders cut out of it. haha jean skirt, pink leggings, heals, and pink shirt, she had the awesome curly huge hair, and best make up to boot. Steve pulled a Joe dirt, pegged pants, wig, glasses, white tennis shoes with the bright green shoe laces, and the oldest school cell phone i have ever seen! He walked around with that in his back pocket. (Steve also wore this wig hunting)

So My 3rd side of the family! Yes a few of them are partiers! They are quite comical ones actually! A family party consists of Uncle Donovans heated garage, the family, a football to tag each other with, "THE I POD" with the greatest 80's music up until now that everyone in the family knows and and sing word for word and dance to like there is no tomorrow, the giant sound system that is in the garage, all the chairs, the uncles beer, and the whole family. Now the picture above is my cousin Kylie and her boyfriend Miah. They are so funny together. I just love them to death. They are getting ready to be married in the temple. I am so proud of Ky! I love her to death. Ky and I have always been best friends a side from being cousins. She totally brightens my day. She is honestly the best friend you could ever have. All my cousins on this side of the family are my best friends. Cody and Lexie and Just as awesome! They are real big smart butts. And always know how to make you laugh. We all have the funnest together.
My cousin Cody's girlfriend Kelsie, My Aunt Shalauna, and I. Kelsie is such a doll! I love her to death. She is so cute and she is so perfect for Cody. They have been dating for almost 2 years. We hope to keep her apart of our family. She can keep up with all us smart butts and dish it out just as much! It is hilarious. My Aunt Shalauna, she is a hoot. Family parties... She is the babysitter. She is so fun, loving, and supportive. She is so honest! Almost too honest sometimes.. in fact our whole family is that way.

Uncle Ryan is so funny and between him and Donovan.. Once you get em singin you will NOT get them to ever shut up! It is awesome! They can actually sing good. Uncle Donovan... Well he makes everyone get up out of their chairs to sing and dance haha! He will dance like there is no tomorrow. He would never stop if he had the choice. He is by far the funniest person I have ever met! No one can come close to him and my cousin Cody!

While he my be my little brother, he is also my best friend.

There are so many ways that I look up to my little brother. He is so strong! Not only in football but in pretty much every aspect. He has such a strong testimony and is always setting such a great example for everyone around him. :) He is constantly setting a good example for me. I learn so much from him! He is so mature and responsible! I love him to death! I am so proud of him. He also has girls all over him :/ not so good. I look at Colton and think, wow! you are such a stud! But when there are a million little girls his age and a grade or two older that think the same thing... I am not so sure that I am ok with that. While I worry about him losing focus... I dont know why I do because he never does. He is so focused on everything he should be! I am so proud of him! He is so funny too because while I think I am so protective of him... I think that people I date have to worry much more about my little brother then they do my dad! haha! Colton not only is protective of me but he competes for my attention like NONE other! lol It is comical and cute! This picture is us after his game yesterday. They played Union. Wasatch won 20-0! Wahoo!!! Colton played the ENTIRE game!

For the 24Th I did what my family and I do every year. My hometown, Wallsburg, does their own fun 24Th celebration. The whole town which is maybe 200 people, get together and have a parade, talent show, games, and an armature rodeo. My friend Brady has his own rough stock company and provided us with the bulls. The Wallsburg rodeo arena is a little bit smaller and the fences are NOT made for bulls haha. We need panel fences and panels that are about 2 feet taller then the fences that we currently have. During the whole rodeo I was running the shoots. Helping out with the rough stock. We were all having a good time with the calves and steers but the bulls... The bulls barely fit in the shoots. Brady got the 2 pick up men just where he wanted them cause he was thinking and knew that if the bull wanted he could easily run right out of the arena and he didn't want it running straight into everyone. So the 2 pick up men sat on their horses on the side of the arena where all the bleachers were. Well first cowboy hops on the bull, nods his head, and on with his ride. Cowboy came off the bull and next thing you know... just like a cartoon, that bull was straight out through the fence and into the crowd. As our pick up men and other locals on horses went after the bull, it headed out through the fields and up into the foot hills with the flank strap still on it. Bull #2... hmm... escaped just the same. Brady called off the bulls. He didn't' want his bulls running all over Wallsburg. We caught one of them but the other was still roaming all over Wallsburg until last night. Well after the Wallsburg rodeo, Mike, Brady, and I headed to the Spanish Fork Rodeo. The Rodeo was a lot of fun! I love Rodeo's! When the bull riding came up for the rodeo they announced that our World Champ 2 years ago was riding and bla bla bla... well world champ got on and came right off. Mike was being funny and said, "Well Ladies and Gentlemen, there is your world champion right there in the dirt." hahaha! I was laughing so hard and right then the lady behind us sat up and said, "You better watch it! That is my son!" hahah! Yup his mom was sitting right behind us. We laughed so hard. I love hicks but ignorant hicks cant take critisism! It was pretty funny! As the fireworks started we ran over to Brady's feeding lot to feed all of his rough stock when some horses got out! HELL! We caught them and had a ball feeding. After we went to the park in Payson! haha where these 2 retards got their butts stuck in the little kids swings and their butts soaking wet for the slides! Brady the whole time was reminiscing about elementary school. We had a ball! They are good ol cowboys! Full on cowboys without the drinking, smoking, and chewing. They go to church but as every cowboy does... they have a bit of a swearing problem haha but they are good guys! It was so fun!

Monday Midnight Hike to the "Y"

So recently I moved to the Alpine/Highland singles ward. I love it! Our bishop is so awesome! haha I have a lot of friends in that ward and it is awesome! We have so much fun all the time! Monday night for FHE we had a bbq at the church and after about 16 of us got ready to go hike the "Y" Once we got everyone rounded up and got to the bottom of the trail it was about 11pm. It was so funny! lol I hiked it in freaking flip flops!

This is Joe! He is the funniest person I have ever met! He is from Ecuador which is where Brad is currently serving his mish! Joe just got home from serving his mission in New Jersey! Hence the shirt!

Happy 4th and Happy Birthday Colton!

The 4th was my little brothers birthday! He just turned 15! Sickening how fast he is growing up! He is such a stud though! He is such a great kid and I am proud of him! I love him so much! For his birthday I took our cousin Jadyn and her girlfriends up to Wallsburg to hang out with him. A big group of us (family/friends) went riding on the bikes, tyrex, and 4-wheelers! We had SO much fun haha! Everyone had such a blast! This is me getting anxious to go riding! We had to fix the tire first!

Our neighbors had a huge party! They had a band, a mechanical bull, and catered by tucano's. Now I know why bull riders have such small butt's if any butt at all!

Me and Jadyn spent Friday and Saturday morning at the firecracker tournament in Heber supporting Mckaid and his baseball team! Go Dirtbags!

TELL ME ABOUT IT.... Freakin sick right!? So Brad and I got on our e-mails Saturday at the same time which was pretty exciting for us! So we chatted it up for a whole hour! Brad was so funny! He kept saying stuff like, " Holy cow Shantell! It is like we are actually talking but not really..." lol and judging by some of his other comments you could tell it was pretty exciting for him haha! But who am I fooling? It was way exciting for me to! However while we were chatting he thought he would send me a nice surprise! Yes a freaking nasty, huge, hairy, grose, creepy, crawly spider! Just ask me how mad I was! haha! AHHH! I hate spiders! Brad is in a trio right now so him and his 2 companions caught a scorpion as well as the spider and put them in that plastic thing together to try and get them to fight. haha! It didn't happen though. They just sat and faced each other forever! He groses me out! lol! However, he did inform me that he wasn't brave enough to be the one that touched them. He just watched! haha! Good thing! I wouldn't want him to get bit! In less it ment he would have to come home... JK JK! I wouldn't wish that upon him! haha Don't tell!!

SLUMBER PARTY WITH THE KIDS & TRACK MEET

Thursday, Jenna and Dalton decided they wanted to do a sleep over at my house and since I didn't work I decided what the heck why not? It has been a while since I have done anything with them. So they came over to my house and went swimming in my pool and sat in the hot tub. After we played at the park by my house. We ate dinner at Panda Express and after the kids got in the bath and washed up. We put on our pajamas and watched X-Men where we all fell asleep on the couch until Jace called me at 1:30 am which is the usual every night!! He is in Alaska so it was 11:30 and they had just finished their game. So I hauled the kids up to bed. They slept in their own bed but when I woke up the next morning all 3 of us were in my bed! haha! They are so funny! Since Jenna picked dinner at Panda, Dalton got to pick breakfast... He chose McDonalds. We went there and then to my aunt Michelle's house to drop Dalton off. I talked to Michelle and she had just taken her dose for her cancer scan so we had to stay a distance away from her but while I talked to her the kids were playing and next thing we know...

Daxton caught himself a snake! All the kids were having so much fun with it! haha! So we played with the snake for a while which was way fun! Then my aunt Shari called and Jenna and I had to run! We had Mckaid, Jenna's big brothers track meet to go to. Mckaid has never taken anything less than 1st! He is so stinking fast! He wins by 4-10 seconds every race and sometimes he wins by even more! He rocks! He is going to San Diego to compete and then to South Carolina! He broke a record for his age group and his race!

My very best friend all growing up and all through out junior high and high school is serving a mission in Alaska right now. Well today I got an e-mail from Jeff telling me that he has been very sick. The past year he has always had really bad head aches and migrains but now they are getting worse. Every morning he wakes up with a really bad migrain and all through out the day he has a head ache and then again at night he has a migrain. Jeff has been going to a hospital in Alaska where a group of doctors have been checking him out. They have discovered that he has a hole in his heart and a bad infection that is trying to get to his brain. They believe there is more going on and are still checking him out. He goes back in to them this week to see if the medication they have put him on will help him but he says it hasn't helped a bit so far. They told him that if it hasn't helped they would have to admit him to a specialty hospital up there while they did tests on him. They told him that it would be for approximately 2 weeks. And in that case Jeff would be sent home off of his mission. I am praying for him like crazy! It makes me sick to think that something could be so seriously wrong with Jeff. In high school Jeff was our all star baseball player. He was a friend to everyone! Every time my car broke down weather it was the battery dying or a flat tire which happened a number of times... Jeff was always the first one there. He was a steady act of kindness! I hope that he knows how much I love him and how much I care about him. He is the best friend anyone can ask for! But despite all of this Jeff is keeping a great attitude and talks about how much he loves his mission and the Lord! He tells me that it is the best! He doesn't want to come home! He wants them to be able to take care of it there so that he can stay!

I am so proud of you Jeff! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! Keep up the great attitude!

So me and my cousin Kylie/Best Friend decided we have 9 weeks to work our butts off to get in bathing suit shape! This winter was a long winter and all either of us did was work and ride the snow mobiles. It is now time to get back in shape. I didn't think I had lost so much strength until Steve had me do a male push... I got down and couldn't get back up haha! It was horrible! I could not believe it! I use to have the strongest arms. So I called Kylie and she came over to my house. We Walked/Jogged the trail that goes around the town houses I live in, the baseball park, golf course, and The Quarry where Wal-Mart, Lowes, and all those restaurants are. It is all almost up or down hill, not really flat. After we came back to the house and while Matt and Steve were gone to a friends house for dinner and a party, we busted a**! We did a whole ab work out, tons of leg lifts, lunges, push ups, squats and LOTS of other good leg work outs. Our work out lasted 3 hours. It was intense and way fun! Me and Ky had each other laughing the whole time. This morning we both woke up for work feeling a lot skinnier and toner haha but then we looked in the mirror... not a change! haha So today we will repeat our work out and plan to do it 5 days a week for the next 9 weeks and keep on our 1200 calorie diet! Or at least do our best! haha! Our work out kicked our butt. I feel like a freshman starting drill team again! haha! I'm going to have to go home and do some good stretching before our work out today!
